Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all digital services and subscription plans offered by PathOr
Platforms Private Limited through the AvA app and related platforms. Please read this policy carefully
before purchasing any subscription or service.
1. Subscription Cancellation
1.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your AvA subscription at any time through the following methods:
- In-App: Navigate to Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription
- Google Play Store: Manage subscriptions through your Google Play account
- Email: Send a cancellation request to ava@pathor.in
1.2 Cancellation Timing
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to premium features until the subscription expires
- No further charges will be applied after cancellation
- Your account will automatically revert to the free tier after the subscription period ends
Important: Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before your next billing
date to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If you experience significant technical problems that
prevent you from using the service and our support team is unable to resolve them
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same
subscription period
- Unauthorized Transactions: If a charge was made without your authorization
- First-Time Subscribers: Within 7 days of your first subscription purchase
if the service does not meet your expectations
2.2 Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions after the 7-day window for first-time users
- Partially used subscription periods (unless due to service issues)
- In-app purchases or one-time feature unlocks
- Subscriptions cancelled after automatic renewal
2.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at ava@pathor.in with the following
information:
- Your registered email address
- Transaction ID or receipt number
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Any relevant screenshots or documentation
3. Refund Processing
3.1 Review Period
All refund requests are reviewed within 5-7 business days. We may contact you
for additional information if needed.
3.2 Refund Timeline
Once approved, refunds will be processed as follows:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days
- UPI/Net Banking: 3-7 business days
- Google Play: According to Google's refund processing timeline
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
4. Free Trial Cancellation
If AvA offers a free trial period:
- You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged
- Cancellation must be completed before the trial period ends to avoid automatic billing
- No refunds will be issued for charges incurred after the trial period if cancellation was not completed
in time
5. Subscription Modifications
5.1 Plan Changes
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time:
- Upgrades: Take effect immediately with prorated billing
- Downgrades: Take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
5.2 Price Changes
If we change subscription prices, existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance. You may
cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect if you do not agree to the changes.
6. Service Discontinuation
In the unlikely event that PathOr Platforms discontinues the AvA service:
- Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance
- Prorated refunds will be issued for any unused subscription time
- Users will have the option to export their data before service termination
